About Me

I was born in Crailsheim, Germany. I studied English and Biology at the University of Heidelberg. In 1999, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Video Production.

I have been living in Los Angeles since 2000 working as cinematographer for television. In 2005, I started working for "Jimmy Kimmel Live." I shot the "I'm f*ing Matt Damon" viral phenomenon, and received a silver Clio for my work on the "Guillermo in the Informant" commercial integration as well as an Emmy nomination for my work on the show.

Photographer, writer Ben Lifson has been my mentor since June of 2007.
